Samaira Mehta

Ms. Samaira Mehta is an inspiring young innovator who is transforming the way children engage with technology and learning. At the age of seven, she created CoderBunnyz, an award-winning board game designed to teach coding concepts without the use of computers, making complex ideas both accessible and enjoyable for young learners. Guided by a visionary commitment to education and empowerment, Samaira launched the global initiative “Yes, One Billion Kids Can Code,” with the mission of equipping one billion children worldwide with essential coding and STEM skills for the future. Through her outreach and educational advocacy, she has inspired young people across diverse communities to embrace technology as a means of creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.

A highly regarded speaker at leading technology organisations, including Google and Microsoft, and recognised by distinguished global leaders such as Michelle Obama, Ms. Mehta exemplifies the remarkable impact of youth leadership driven by purpose, innovation, and social responsibility. Her contributions continue to advance inclusive education and help shape a more equitable and future-ready world.
